MOTIVATIONAL INTERVIEWING – MASTERING CHANGE WORKSHOP
2-DAY WORKSHOP BROUGHT TO YOU BY
THE CHILLIWACK FINANCIAL LITERACY COMMITTEE
Motivational Interviewing has been described as “A method of conversation that happens in a way that brings out a person’s motivation to change” (Miller, 2010). This workshop is designed to optimize your work using MI to help people explore and resolve ambivalence within the context of compassionate and accepting helping relationships.
The format of this two-day workshop will be interactive in nature, providing opportunities to practice MI concepts through demonstration, experiential participation, discussion, and FUN!
January 24 and 25, 2019
Harvard Building Seminar Room 8472 Harvard Place
If you are interested in helping your clients meet their goals, and in joining the Chilliwack Financial Literacy Initiative as we work toward empowering community members, this workshop is for you!
“The best part of this training is how it can empower clients to change their behavior – instead of viewing counselors as authority figures with all the right answers. Giving clients the reigns to take control of their own lives & careers. It’s a really exceptional tool in any industry.”
Testimonial by Employment Adviser at GT Hiring Solutions/WorkBC—Training received for approximately 125 employees.
