- Use a plastic bag to keep paintbrushes fresh – If you seal the paintbrush in an airtight plastic bag and it’ll stay fresh and usable for your next project – no matter how far down the road it is.
- Use a potato to unscrew a broken lightbulb – Just grab a potato and cut it in half, then push its soft side into the broken bulb. Make sure it’s really wedged in there, and then just turn it counterclockwise to remove the broken bulb.
- Use Kool-Aid to find out if your toilet sprung a leak – Pour the contents of the packet inside. Wait about half an hour, and then take a look at the water in the bowl.
- Use baby powder to silence noisy floorboards – Fill a small squeeze bottle with baby powder. Then liberally squeeze the powder between the floorboards, and use a makeup brush to push it way down the cracks.
